Plumber St. Augustine Tips

I had a friend come up and ask me the other day:

“Hey, you are a St. Augustine plumber, I need to replace all the toilets in my house and I want them to be elongated and  save water. So what is the best toilet for my money?”

I recommended getting an air power assist toilets. They have an air tank in the water tank area. When the water refills the tank it pressurizes the air tank inside.  When you flush this toilet it literally blows the stuff down the drain and uses a fraction of the water.

Price is a little more expensive then your “normal” toilet, but like with anything in life –  you are getting what you pay for.
It will get installed by a plumber (ME) just like any other toilet – without any special fittings or air or anything. It’s all self-contained and nothing will stick or get stuck or get backed up (during normal recommended use).

You most likely have already seen these types of toilets in action in commercial application, like restaurants’ or hotels’ restrooms – the ones that still have a tank on the back of the toilet.

These types of toilets are really good at what they do and they will save you hundreds of gallons of water every year.
